Cheers pal. We couldn't have asked for better weather that day too.
I got drawn into helping judge all the ford's for the show lol. Felt a right idiot. But I think we was fair in the judging and they gave us £40 towards the club.
We are going to try book the clumber park show. It falls on 18th June fathers day. So a funny day to get people there. But it's free so gonna try hahaha.

Got a few jobs finished this weekend. The bonnet is the biggy. I've gone of the carbon fiber and maintenance of it so it's gone. What a job to remove all the tiger seal. Then the bonnet lip. Same again a pain. I've always had a mark on the bonnet from where previous owner buffed to far. So I thought what the hell. I got the rattle cans out. It's turned out mint. Only problem I have is I should have took the stonechips out aswell lol. This test fitted the dash saver and got it fitting well. New steering lock on.

Nice work, looks really nice that. One thing is though, get yourself a can of compressed air for blowing off the dust. I know it's not there yet, but if your as ocd as the rest of the thread I know it will bother you lol .

The strip down. I've taken off most as i felt comfortable with. Only air con rad left in place. All crash bars and brackets of certain bits were taken off for a refurb. New bolts orders. Plenum off. Inlet off. New rs radiator was ordered for the better design outlet. New rad bracket and foam was ordered to replace the corroded one. Not got pics of everything but a lot of stuff was removed.

it is on here mate. My mrs got an anembo inlet to go on. BC coilovers need to tidy them up and will be getting a set of 6 pot ap front brakes. Need to sort a few odds and sods out. Sort the washer jets out as losing water somewhere (thinks it's the headlight spray jets not plumbed in) and a bit of body work and want to get the front end resprayed

Now the rebuild.
My map sensor wiring was very tight so i had a mate make up a extension so it now has room for movement.
this has also had an extra coat of paint to match rest of the bay.
the intercooler was stripped and repainted. Got rid of the red bits

I wanted to have all my nuts and bolts zinc coated but i had already spent a fortune. So i looked up a trick to clean up the old bolts. And well the pics can show you how they came out
a lot of time was spent on the engine bay cleaning and painting as many parts as i could.
I'm very happy with the outcome. Looks so much better and rust free.

Welcome back. You don't have to use phitobucket on here now. If you look in the box your write/type in there is a icon at the top that looks like a picture,to the right if the smiley face. Click on that and you can get pics off your device/phone and upload them that way.
