Supercharging a 2.5 V6 Duratec
Decided to try and Supercharge this just to see what it would do, it was a tough decision as the dam thing went bloody well as it was, but I still felt it had to be done. For those who are interested, It's a Eaton M45 from a Merc SLK230 using a by-pass valve from a Mini Cooper S, should make around 6psi max boost without an intercooler, using a water/Methanol injection system to keep the inlet charge temperature down on WOT only, as the rest of the time the engine will run normally aspirated, well that's the plan anyway

Good to see something different, however I think the M45 is wildly undersized for what you want, they're too small for a 2.0 Zetec let alone that!

That's what I thought, but take a closer look and you will see a very short pipe run from the blower outlet and plenum chamber, also the blower is geared 2.2:1, also what makes this work on this engine is the very poor induction flow under 4000rmp, this engine should be standard with some sort of forced induction system.
Plus it sounds the nuts
