Engine bay stripped off all parts to be cleaned painted satin black, carbon dipped or changed to stainless bits. All bolts either zinc plated or be replaced with new ones New gaskets on all parts removed





Standard rear beam & power steering rack taken off parts to be cleaned & painted black before going back on 6 degree beam.




Drivershafts, anti roll bars, 6 degree rear beam hubs & all brackets ect to be cleaned & painted in black




Last of the bolts & washers all bolts & washed to be cleaned & zinc plated silver



The parts that could'nt be waxoiled to be done now all parts underneath are removed.






Seal on none sealed area

Some of the parts that have been sandblasted back to bare metal remaining should be done tonight ready for painting.

I didn't think you could blast the props as I thought you would never get them clean enough to stop them wearing away?

They were sand blasted very carefully anyone thats abit trigger happy could do some serious damage. If you need any parts doing i'll send you over his number.

Arw you using coil overs? The rear arms look modded where the shocker goes.

Everything in satin crackle finish apart from fuel rail, throttle body and fuel reg paint satin black

That will need soda or vapour blasting or lightly sand blasted at a lower pressure prior to painting with crackle. That's from experience at work we do a lot of crackle finish on alloy rocker covers etc.

All parts back that were sandblasted for underside of car painted in 2 pack expoxy primer.



Spec R Intercooler painted silver



Spec R polished Power Steering Tank with sight glass
New coolant tank cap



New AP 6 Paddle Clutch New Top Caps



Few gaskets left new wheel bearings ect left that should be here next week Spec R Fuel Swirl Pot should be here next week also.

New wheel bearing, half moons, fuel filter last part to get is inlet gasket.



Car is starting to get put back together when the underside manifold and turbo is fitted car will be recovered to fabricator for custom 3" exhaust system as the one fitted is not up for the job.

Once back engine bay, guages few other bits to finish off 2/3 weeks till completion

Spec R fuel swivel pot cover to be fitted over fuel pump once its on the car to cover fuel pump

Fuel pot done all fuel lines fitted pump needs wiring up when its back from having exhaust made. Filter and brakes fitted and back on its wheels will be dropped off this week for the exhaust. On with the engine bay and guages when its back.

Car back from Mike at Edwards Motorsport done a really nice job of making the exhaust turbo back.












Heat wrap kit for down pipe.

its a 7670 internal gate, Will let you know when mapping and will try to get it on the dyno on the same day.

Had all Spec R bits put back together decided not to go for carbon dipping had Pete at Spec R give them a refresh.Rest of engine parts to be powered coated crackle finish.
