Hi guys been a while,

i am halfway through my fiesta XR2I restoration waiting for paint then it can all go together, ill post some photos when i get back home.

But i have just bought a 3DR MK6 1996 1.6 escort and i am planning to use this car for some late night driving on some back roads, but the motor in it has 180,000 on it and well i thought about forging it and what not but its not Ł to BHP worth it lol so i know this has been asked loads of times every where but i would like to know what motor would just drop in, i know ill have to change ECU, and loom but i just want a simple swap.

easiest would probably be an rs2000 engine, best to get a donor car whichever route you go though

Yeah thats an option but surely i should just by myself an rs200? any other ideas?

if it requires an engine mount to be changed or something thats fine but i dont want to have problem after problem
