got another few hours at it last night, got the interior nearly in just the passenger seat and glove box to fit and got the new gauges wired in and powered up.

Bit late to the party regarding the tape on the coil overs, but if you are thinking of doing something you should look at this. Its like a a rubber electrical tape. We used to use it on outdoor fittings on radio masts and works really well. I use it for anything and everything and would be perfect for this job. it sticks to itself and you just stretch it so it grips. Taking it off is either finding the end and unwinding or cutting it off. Brilliant stuff.

Great build and really love the interior. Love to see cars with soo much history being looked after and restored back to their former glory!

wiring all finished and fuse box back in and breather fitted put the bonnet on to check for clearance at the battery looked tight to the bonnet but thankfully its ok,so its now on the ramp ready for the engine to go in

got the engine in last night,fuck its a tight fit and we have hit a problem,i want to use the a s inlet but the throttle body hits the battery,so I'm going to look into race batterys and cut the tray or put the battery in the boot,which i don't really want to do.
also got the bumper on so it well on its way
