got another few hours at it last night, got the interior nearly in just the passenger seat and glove box to fit and got the new gauges wired in and powered up.
also got the bumper back from the body shop,i didn't like the hole and mesh martin had in it so I decided to get it filled
paul got the electrics powered up and pleased to say everything is working as it should so now the loom can be taped up and engine fitted.

10K+ Poster!!
Looking good! And slightly off topic but those old petrol pump signs (the esso and others) look really cool too (saddo that likes old garage memorabilia here).

If in Doubt Flat Out...
Bit late to the party regarding the tape on the coil overs, but if you are thinking of doing something you should look at this. Its like a a rubber electrical tape. We used to use it on outdoor fittings on radio masts and works really well. I use it for anything and everything and would be perfect for this job. it sticks to itself and you just stretch it so it grips. Taking it off is either finding the end and unwinding or cutting it off. Brilliant stuff.

Great build and really love the interior. Love to see cars with soo much history being looked after and restored back to their former glory!

I can't believe how fast this thing is coming together and the standard of workmanship. You sure this is going to get used Mark?
