So the strip down starts, first on the hit list was to wash x amount of years of dust of it,
it wasn't as bad as I thought just needs a good buff and a few dents taken out
I thought this was quite a cool pic beside my saph
next up get it on the ramp for a look underneath, martoon wasn't wrong, its a very well done conversion
custom fuel tank
next was to pull the front end out ive decided to get the engine bay painted as there is a few marks here and there and when im this far down I may as well do it right
and so it starts, piles of cosworth bits all over the place
also bought a number plate for it, put it on to see what it look like,

more done today, interior out as it needs a real good clean and I want to power wash the carpets, how it was before I started
front seats there out of an evo 6 and re trimmed
and a few hours later this is how it ended up
next job on the interior is dash out as I want to replace the ecu loom and remove the old alarm ready for the new one
as I was doing that @Paul RS took the engine bay to bits ready for it to go to the bodyshop
how it started
all power washed ready to paint
pretty crap up dates but at least its progress,on a good note head is away to get a few bits done and turbo due in a few days,

When was this car first featured in a mag? And any pics?
I remember reading a feature on this (may be not) many years ago when I was into Max Power and Red Line.
I do remember a free dvd with a mag and on it was Martin trying to break the tow a caravan top speed record or something. Think a window went through on the caravan and they had to remove the stabiliser? That was the escort like.
Whilst the mag staff were fucking about in Corsa's and similar on it fucking about at Brunters.
