couldn't stay like that long so got at it, il let pics do the talking!! but after a years ownership iv got car to look and drive how i want but engine still 1300 needed thinking about!!!
as it stands it running and I'm booking it in to get the megasquirt mapped asap.... buzzing to drive it!!!

thanks for the positive comments people, its always good getting a standard car then changing it into ur own, not buying one done and just painting the wheels n stuff lol......
hopefully its join to get set up next week, its sitting in the garage doing nothing at the min as its ready to get mapped just waiting on one or two things. done the complete conversion in a week flat out, but loom was dodgy (not pictured loom) and car wouldn't run, so ordered another loom from phil at extra efi and i started from scratch re doing it, then started on the button!!!
its the daily so only gonna run sensible boost.. 10-12psi ish with scope to run 15psi.... because racecardaily.... specs pretty good to be fair so pretty confident in it!!
i use it for work, picking kids up, doing weekend garden jobs n filling it with shit and tools, i chuck engines in the back, stick a roof rack on it n pick up shit etc.... jus gonna be a bit less mind deadening driving lol
thanks for looking and the comments!! once set up il give an update! then back to the projects lol

Love it! Where are the plates from?? Are they legal font as they are just what I want to run on my P100 daily when its finished. Any hassle from the law?

thanks people!
but thank you!!
of all wheels you could have mentioned you chose some boring basic s1 wheels..... wheres your imagination man!!!!!!! ;0) pmsl
plates were just ebay hobbies and spacing and lettering is illegal so no doubt gonna get grief but iv got magnets glued to them (ally plates) and bona get new legal ones n just swap them for meets etc.
thanking you mr simso!!!! will catch up with ya soon no doubt mate!!!
For me the wheels let the rest of the car down. But the rest has just got so much win, its emotional lol.
to be honest mate i disagree massively the wheels are perfect... if i put shiny wheels on a brown estate that has bags of shit in and tools etc they will look out of place! banded steels with the brown keep it looking like an old retro escort with a few twists... not a show car wannabe with diamond cuts, or escos wheels or comps etc.
Absolutely love it

thanks Glenn I'm more than happy how it is to! yea I'm over the moon with the 245, hopefully I'm in the safe zone n aren't putting everything to the limit... turbo could do with replacing tho but no rush at the minute.
cheers AJC I'm mad on the mk3s, loads of character and different models to choose from!!
yes mate it went ford fair, took her out on track to which was fun..... power was great on straights but the tires weren't ideal on the bends lol. but originally bought the session for my track s1 but it never made it.

cheers!! standard colour, i was thinking id paint it to begin with but it grew on me massively!!!
thanks!!!
its just a s2 turbo box with a quaff diff, been sleeved with mk3 outer case so have the 4 bolt box mounting point on front of the case....... the box is making some odd noises tho so I'm possibly going to do a FRS conversion. costly and not a quick turn around what with the mount modding, elec speedo issue etc so il ride out my time for along as i can with this noisy box.

Fantastic but like Maxwell the wheels let it down massively for me. I can understand wanting to retain the sleeper but just think Mondeo 15" or 16" steelies would look so much better. The stretched tyre look is just one of my all time least favorite modifications like Zetec S back bumpers on Mk3 Fiesta's.
It is of course your car though so you do whatever makes you happy with it. We build our cars for ourselves at the end of the day not for every other bugger.
