Mercury Grey 2wd... Not sure where to start!
Had this for for a while now but not touched it since last year.
Its a rolling shell, has interior & all the body panels but missing engine box etc.
I really wanted a doner car to build this back up with so managed to buy a rusty 4x4 from a friend, although mines a 2wd I knew I could use the 200 block & L8 ecu & then just source a gearbox etc.
So the plan is..
Tidy up around the body, needs an arch on the drivers side rear but others body is pretty rust free. Will require the spoiler & a few other bits painting but that's all I'll be doing for now as I want to drive this not look at it!!
Here's a few pictures of how it's sat now
Looking very sorry at the minute but hopefully get the arch welded in next week & begin stripping it down for abit of paint & polish.
I'll add more pictures as & when, not going to be a full resto thread or anywhere near but hopefully you can enjoy me put one of the rarer colour cars back on the road

its funny when you see your old car a few years on in a sorry state. its a bit like seeing a stunning ex girlfriend and shes turned into a fat mess.
