What spring rates have you tried on Gaz Coilovers on S2 ERST??
Hey guys,
Quick question for all those running Gaz Coilovers on their Series 2 Escort RS Turbos.
I'm about to order a set for my project as a finishing touch, but I've seen some pretty conflicting threads on here about the various spring rates used.
NMS and Tony recco 280 on the front and 180 on the rear. I understand the theory behind why they state these. Light car, spring rate vs damper effect etc etc. But then people who run these rates say the back can feel a bit soggy...
So question is to those who have done it. What works best for you??
My car has no rear seats, full front interior, cage, small items in boot area. Fast road use, mix between grip for launch and handling.
Any suggestions?
Cheers.
