Nice to here its used daily too matey. I would use mine more if it wasnt for the salt on the roads. Ive spent a fortune on bodywork and i dont want the salt to ruin it again.
Couldn't blame you Glenn especially the head ache you had to get it all done in the end but bet your glad things worked out the way they did as was mint when was all done

Trial fitted new wheels:

New MSD ECU bracket fitted:

New turbo oil feed pipe fitted. Thought the old one was leaking at the bottom where it goes into the block but after fitting the new one and going for a spin there was a little oil there Think it's flying back from the cam pulleys which of course are leaking too All being sorted in a couple of weeks. 1 of the horseshoe pieces was broken as in pic so replaced that in situ and pissed me off to high heaven, what a ballache of a job Oil feed pipe could be an inch longer as the gap is small:

New MSD Weber FPR fitted. Bracket it comes with doesn't fit so I'm guessing it's a generic bracket for any car model. Anyone know about the vac nipple on top as it may have rotated by 90 degrees...not sure if this is an adjustment point or not, as it says it is a 3.5bar regulator...is it adjustable or not? I don't really know

New air filter fitted. Of course the trumpet was the wrong size so wouldn't fit. Put on the old crappy one until I either get a new hose or a bigger jubilee clip and squeeze

The few small new bits fitted:

Got 6 new parts installed so not too bad.......getting there slowly but surely.....loads more on the way and will update as soon as they're fitted

Philip.

Default Some new shiny bits at long last...

AP racing 6 pots and 355mm j-hook discs:

Rear 320mm j-hook discs:

MT 6 degree beam and solid mounts:

Front brakes:

Rear brakes:

All fitted:

Some new engine bits:

Engine cooling system has been changed from a 2WD to full 4X4 including thermostat housing, thermostat, water pump, turbo cooler, header tank and new timing belt fitted also. Rocker cover has been blasted and painted. New vernier pulleys fitted. No oil leaks so far, can't believe it

Front end has 3DR hubs and adjustable TCAs fitted and the car has had a full alignment setup using Mike Rainbird's settings. In fairness, it ain't perfect but it handles about a trillion times better than before! I can actually throw it into a bend now and it'll go around it somewhat

Seems to pull like a train after the 6 degree beam install, what an upgrade. Now I know why all of you were raving about it! It is class and puts the power down so well. Less tail happy even in the wet which is something The new Toyo Proxes T1Rs are deadly too.

Fitted the metal bumper brackets too and my mechanic got the bumper straight on...as best as possible, still has the middle sag but hey ho.

I must change some of the hoses, may go all black and PAS tank and probably a few more bits. Respray and rear arches next year and it'll be done then......for now lol

I'm delighted with the outcome. I think it's finally a respectable crystal bluesy Just my opinion of course

Philip.
