Well its been a while since the last update. The cossie was taxed as of 1st August.
I used it a fair amount over the course of August/September, and must have clocked up around 500 miles in her. Its run really well since the top end rebuild and its now driving nicer than it ever has since ive had it.
Few pics of the summers activities.
First of all it was time for a wash, it was filthy after sitting in the garage for 11 months and having us working under the bonnet sorting the engine.
Got my mate round to wash it.
First night back out, was a bit nerve racking but all was good!
Then pretty much as soon as i got it back on the road the mot ran out, so mot time.
Pissed the mot, no advisories. But it had only done about 240 miles since the last one.

Sailed up to ford fair without a single issue
Headed over to the revenge cruise at the end of august with a couple of mates
On the way home

I have tried to use it as much as possible over the remainder of the summer, done a good few miles and without any major issues.
Its off the road now for the winter, got a few things that need sorting out, spoiler needs re-painting, its developed a tiny water leak of one of the banjos to the turbo.
The turbo will be coming off anyway either for a rebuild or an upgrade. Fancy a bit more power!! But not quite yet because im busy building my saph drift car.

Did this about 6 weeks ago
Turbo was hanging, burning oil badly so needed to come off
Good riddance
So shes in bits again, aiming to be set up and back on the road for 18th april.

Cooler etched
New turbo, went for a t34.55 in the end
Bought a breather tank and a turbo damper off jimmys cossie, and the cooloer painted in 2k gloss black
Not a fan of blingy polished ali so have given the breather tank a coat of gloss black as well
Spoiler is off to be repainted again
Hole drilled in the camcover, whilst it was off i decided to give it a refurb as the paint was pretty shit.
Sandblasted
A few good coats of radiant red later....
And after a few hours of rubbing down its done
All going back together finally, got new black boost hoses and a group a air filter
MSD chip going in
Cooler fitted with the rad and cooling system plumbed up
Happy to say the end is now in sight, spoiler should be back by the 12th april, few bits left to do before it goes for setup on the 14th april. But its getting there.

Not updated this in a while, it did the summer of 2014 made 366bhp 370lbs/ft great fun and what a transformation over standard. Went into the garage in September 2014 and it's not seen the road since. Loads of other projects have come and gone. But now it's time to sort the 3dr. Dragging her over to work on Friday to get her ready for the summer.
