Smile Zetec Turbo project

hi to All passionford forum.
My name is Alberto.Im from Spain,i have got a escort Rs turbo s2 white and i have converted it to a s1 black
I have left 1.6 stock turbo engine and i want to build a 2.1 zetec turbo,in Spain this conversion doesnt exists.Sorry for my english.
Im fan of UK fords and people that love old classics fords and enjoy driving them.
I have tried all but i dont receiv any help of nothing with private messages so i want to post a thread if somebody want help to finish my car.

First i must to say its a budget build i dont want to waste a lot of money in parts i want to take advantage of my old 1.6 RST parts.

My end is get about 300-320 bhp no more.

Spec that im building: 2.1 zetec turbo escort rs turbo S1 black sapphire colour
I have C20LET pistons (need forged? for 320bhp that i search or genuine mahle are good??)
Standard silvertop rods modified to accept pistons
ARP conrods bolts
standard crank
what head gasket do you use? (i was thinking on Focus rs mk1 head gasket 3layer genuine)
Compression will be 7.5:1??? i dont know its my 1st build engine
Ho inlet manifold with Vauxhall fuel rail for use injectors of high impedance
Ported polished and gasflowed stage 1 head
Zetec 2.0 inlet cam and cat exhaust cams bought to ian howell
Peugeot 106 gti valve springs and retainers with 2mm washer of without any washer?
i have a ERST exhaust manifold and a Nissan SR20det 200sx tubular genuine Exhaust manifold that i dnt know whats better??
Garrett t3 off a 2wd sapphire cossy 50 trim 0.48 exh hous that i think hybrid to 60 trim 0.55 exh hous? for 300 bhp?? i dont want 0.64 ar off a t34 because lag.. i think that running about 18 21 psi i can get about 300 bhp??
focus rs spark plugs and leads
Grs intercooler evo3
airtec radiator stage 2
mongoose exhaust system 2,5 bore with 3" mongoose downpipe off a cosworth t34 and 3,5 tailpipe
cosworth group A t34 K&N filter
Samco hoses
I want to use OFAB management off a FRST with a zetec turbo chip i think in 3 bar map sensor and iw158 injectors big beige 380 cc/min at 3bar
cosworth walbro uprated fuel pump more than 350hp
what do you think its the same spec that QplateRST mk2 blue fiesta xr2 used
and Paul Rippley with mk3 red fiesta AREA SIX car get 270 bhp.

If nobody from England write and help me i wont run my car never.
Regards and cheers from spain.
I wait any advice.
Albert.

The C20LET pistons you have are already forged as they are the ones that run in the calibra turbo engines

Try This Link It Might Help You Out A bit http://www.dunge.eclipse.co.uk/ZTguide.pdf

Are you for real ???
I must have sent you atleast 12 msgs replying to you i have explained everything to you that you need to do and buy.
I have also offered you various cheap parts that you want for pennies !
The reason i stopped replying is because i felt insulted by some of your price offers you also insulted my friend qplaterst.
You kept asking me the same questions over and over again i got the impression you wanted me to hop on over to spain and build it for you lol.
If you read all your msgs then it should be built by now.

Whats your view on the 106gti springs, ive got them but debating whether i need 2mm shims under the springs or not.. and if anything they should only really need to be shimmed on the inlet side?

Cheers

Yes, Fit the 2mm washers with the 106gti springs! that takes the seat pressure up to about the same as a silvertop (strangely, they're not much better than silvertop springs), otherwise the springs will be no good at all really.

You can go thicker than 2mm if you work out your cam lift, but be careful, as you may cause problems with the stem seals.
