new here and starting a restoration on a mk1 xr2 will keep pics coming.

in a standard form alot of bodywork to do.

even worse after patch removed,held together with silicon and underseal.

started to repair floor while waiting for repair panel for door post to arrive.

floor repaired just needs ground down and zinc primered.

everything is there,the only thing that is missing is the cover from the boot lid what covers the wiper motor. any one got one spare.

procress slow at the minute got the rear wheel arch cut out and tacked into place and most of the sealer off the underneath.

most of the drivers side finished waiting to get the spot welder fixed to finish sills and wheel arches in the mean time started cutting the rust out the passenger side.

flinch panel and door post removed. got the door post repair panel. will have to start from scratch with the flinch panel as so far I have found this unobtainable (any one got one please)

that's a very nice example my first one was sunburst red was thinking of going red with this one depending on how good the repairs turn out around the rear arches as black would show more. can you pm me with details of rear shelf thanks.
