hi guys been a while been busy/lazy! All brakes fitted an bleed now, non abs,fan,fuel pump looms fitted. Cage an seats fitted had a secs moniter aswel thats in an filter sock. exhaust system an other bits are on she even turns over!! Had to make my own turbo brace an heater matrix to thermo pipe. few bits i been collecting to L8, seimens 83s, pf09, etc an for my next build few other bit let pics do the talking!An thanks to lee2cossies for sorting my brakes out!

if u mean the carpet in the back, i just got a black roll off ebay bit longer than i needed an made a template outa cardboard/paper. Then just cut it to shape then spray carpet glued it down but used a foam underlay first before carpet. so all looks smooth turned out good!!

What's gone wrong to bend values, was the timing belt setup incorrectly ??
Looks like you had value cut outs in the pistons as well.
havent updated in a while as been busy! had the block bored out for new piston an bottom end getting there. got new double valve springs, every bearing, seals, gaskets everything an new t34 an painted block black after cleaning everything. looking good so far!
Been doing a bit more, my mates got bottom end sorted its all together sump on, new oil pump, gaskets, bearing etc. All valves lapped in an all fitted head can be fitted down now. Hopefully get few more bits on next few days aswel
Few more bits done an a good bit! got it all put together an fitted in, all water, boost pipes, exhaust everything fitted. Gota tidy few bits up, Had a new braided engine loom looks awesome and its all on. Even got the engine running!! So she starts up an everything new so im happy now, new front wheel bearings so be fitted this week an then will be on the floor an moving!!
Just read the thread from the start. Looked like you bought her in the nick of time as looked very unloved when you grit her. Done a cracking job on the rebuild and hope it all goes smoothly this time

its been a while but she is road legal an running now! had to get new brembo front calipers as they went wrong. Been to melwyn evans to have corner setup etc, few hundred miles an go for a remap as done a few already. Just beeing out in it is awesome an people love it! Been to action day on show was a good day i let the pics do the talking. went for a spin as was a nice day an there was another 3dr out so stopped for a chat. also went to pistonheads meet on weekend an there was a bmw e30 m3 evo that was stunning!!

Hi been a while but been busy with stuff and car!
My new brembo front brake calipers had a piston seized in them after the trouble ive had having to get more. So i got them fully rebuilt new pistons, seals, new ferodo ds2500 pads everything even had them dipped a powdercoated. Also the studs on the turbo housing where the downpipe bolts up to had broken off one, so had to be taken off sent back an they sorted that for me. So bit of a ball ache!!!
Sold my seimens 83lbs injectors an got 55lbs instead, had a full service full nut an bolt check an fare few miles an off for mapping.
So it was setup to run 55s, baby board fitted to my l8, air injectors an its goes like hell

forgot to mention its been in a promo video for cruise culture its biggest car show in wales i think. Anyway heres a few pics and the one of the escort cosworth behind is at pure ford top 25 parade lap or something an she got picked and Harvey Gibbs escos in background and hes done an amazing job on the car thank you!!!!
