No lexus lights.

If you're making a track car on a budget, sack all the weight off you can, put decent tyres on it and go have fun, everything else comes afterwards.

Lol even with 50bhp+ less and std suspension and a shot p/s wishbone (didnt find out till i was on track) i was only 2 seconds a lap slower than stripped out track pumas.

as above there gonna only needed to have brake lights lol.

Well im not going mad, handling wise polybush and fixed shock kit ect.. and power wise just exhaust and cams. brakes uprating front 300mm pads and discs and keeping std 280mm dics setup. weight wise im not going mad like the focus (no carbon firbe) just poly windows tar removal ect..
tyres wise ive found out in the wet it doesnt matter what you got there all crap, think im going to get some yokos found out that toyo tr1s are worse in the wet than semi slicks lol.

Michelin pilot exalto 2's are the king of wet if you are sticking with a road tyre.

I've also got some 300mm st170 brakes for sale if you're interested, along with a billion other fiesta related bits!

Lol just dont smash this focus up, bloody hell i bet the postage is killing you, i looked into ordering carbon parts from the us a while back but it work out cheaper just to have it made over here.
you having the svt rear bumper as well?

well when ajc came down in his st i was 4 seconds a lap slower than him and that was with me have 100bhp less (min my 1.25 is dieing lol) and on std tyres with him on semi slicks and i had std suspension where he doesnt. So hopeful when he comes down next or i go up the fiesta will only be down on abit of power but good handling lol and should run rings around him then lol. (hopefully)

not getting svt rear bumper,(for now) but getting svt sideskirts off same guy sending me front bumper but not until christmas probably.. and as i said i dont really want the rear svt bumper, it sticks out so much, although it would finish off the svt look a treat if i got it, so it is something to ponder on for next year. I could get the rear bumper easily enough, that is not a problem.

You can fit a Yb engine in them with enough money lol but zetec-e engines are easy to.
What you running?
Ive got a 2.0 blacktop at hand that i rebuilt for my old focus but didnt want to have to much top speed fiestas are way to light to do more than 150mph.

Well ive finaly start the conversion and started ripping things out of the car, Inside im done to just the carpet, dash and two front seats, Engine bay ive disconected all the coolant system and wire plugs.
Also ive going out and picked up everything i need to put on the new engine and gearbox engine oil, gearbox oil, coolant, oil filter, aux drive belt, cam belt kit all for a nice Ł175 lol (nearly cost more than the engine lol)

Ps. Im doing a full wiring change hence why the inside is coming out, Ill be on the dive ecu for the mine but am going to get the tape ecu.

Haha yeh a yb would be nice!! Lol. This really didn't cost too much to do!! It's a focus rs mk1 engine.'i fabricated a new engine mount and I'm running it with an ib5 box at the mo so it uses the same gearbox and dogbone mounts. It's running an eaton m45 charger while the m62 is being rebuilt. Got a front mount ic and then a water inj setup for if the temps start to climb.

But when i toke the engine out i had a good look at the suspension (it should have never passed the mot) the whole front setup is total so im having to replace everything (inc the shocks) and some other things on the car (ie have working rear brakes lol)
Im going doing llandow again in sep/oct time its only Ł50ish as the club is hiring the track for the day (weekdays only) you should join and come down again then, Should be dry to since were having a late summer lol and this time ill jump in with you (im not getting in jc car lol)

Well not much to say really i finaly got the old bushs out of the rear beam and hit the poly ones in and bolted on the 12mm spacers and 280mm st setup and then bolted it onto the car still need to sort out the brake lines and hand brake, Also ive fitted the 1.7 engine as well but still needs the driveshafts and water pipes fitted but i need to replace the whole front suspension setup first.
Ill get some pictures up after work or after ive sorted out a party im plan for saturday.

Must say i fking hate the drivers side wishbone caused problems with removal and fitting of the engines.

The chances of this car beening alond to enter any race series is very little i think, If i can find any i can enter next year i will otherwise its just for fun.

I know i cant enter the fiesta championship (even with everything left in the car my car is 25kgs to enter to start )
