Thought I'd put a little update as I've done a few more bits...

Puma gear selector, is so nice a tight to use. Has gota be as good as quick shift and only cost £20

Just had to drill a couple of new holes... Other than that a direct fit

Got a mint s2 carpet and full 90spec consol, all still fits with the new selector.

Also got a brand new quick rack to go with the electric steering, havnt fitted yet but am really looking forward to seeing how well it drives as lock to lock on a normal rack is abit hard work on small roundabouts

Got a set of escort cossie rims for it.... Also in white.
Few better pics of the car as the last ones were shite

Default escort estate

looking really nice mate ive just bought my first mk4 estate and would love to get mine done like this in time the cossie wheels look better than the gti ones but mine has come with gti on so gonna try and save for cossie ones but a very nice job done

mine was a 1.3 pop but someone has put 1.8 silvertop in it with 4 branch manifold on it but not been finished off so not running at the moment but the engine was running before it went in it but I want to try and find a 1.3 and put it back to the right engine for now but hard to find I will try up load pics but im new on here so not sure how yet lol

You will need to use the Mk4 Escort 1.8 d engine mount. Gearbox cradle can be retained.

Out of interest, how did you resolve the 8 stud/6 stud flywheel issue?
