Default My Ford family

Well a couple of guys asked for photos of the escort van so I thought I would get most of them up.

First off is the van. This is it so far.

Van spec;
Started off as a grey 1.8 na with naff all on it and it just looked like a dog. I almost scrapped it. Total cost so far for this is £250.
Whats been done so far;
1.8td engine fitted
Painted black but will be resprayed when done.
MTX75 gearbox
TD Subframe
New wishbones, track rod ends, link arms
RS2k Brakes
MK6 Recaros
Electric windows
Air con
16" Mondeo alloys, had to put spacers on the back.
Adjustable steering column
RS2K steering rack
Front bumper with fogs and honda interga type r front bib (still needs work as you can see)
RS2K Steering wheel
Front mounted intercooler (still working out where to put the pipes)
K,N cone filter
RS2K side skirts
Dash pack is a td one, changed the green filament to blue and white dials.
Smoked indicators
LED side lights
TD bonnet, wings and doors
Still to do;
estate rear bumper
Make a solid rear door and fit central locking to boot
WELDING, lots of it too!

The van is a work van so I wasn't to worried about keeping it original.
I've had run in's with my neighbours before about parking, last time I implied my winch could drag her car on the back of my truck even if the handbrake was on. She left me alone after that.
Not sure about the engine in the capri.
Plan with the capri is fix it, new engine?, alloys and spoiler rs3100 one.
My van is on the lower end of the spectrum the capri is on the other. Welding small plates to the capri is going to take time she is actually pretty solid. It just looks bad.

Ha there how you getting on with making rear doors into one, I'm thinking of doing the same thing and them turning it into an up and over, was looking at using some galaxy struts to aid with lifting, 630n plus going to lighten the door as much as possible without weakening it, the glass is coming out and having plate put in to fit flush so it look s all in one, I know I can get a fiberglass door but I ain't got the £200 they cost. Still looking for suitable hinges, anyone have any ideas on these?
