Twin Engine Corsa 2 x 2lt turbos
I come on PassionFord only to ready the Project forum, so decided to post my project on here.
I think Chip may have posted it a few years ago but decided to do a new one which i can update.
Quoted for my Vauxhall Sites
As some people know i started to build a twin engine corsa around 4-5 years ago. After the first push over 12 months the car was put to one side while i sorced all the parts for both engines/shell etc aswell starting up my own business/garage. So now 4-5 year on alot of money and parts later, i finally had more time on my hands.
So i decided to put aside at least an hour per night before i lock up to work on the car.
Since i started around 2 months ago things have moved on really fast, i find myself getting my enjoyment from working on the car and excited about doing the next step each night.
So i took the car outside gave her a wipe down an took some photos so people can see what i have been upto and see that the car is getting done. Do not want to put a date on when it will be up and running but hope i am not far off for PVShow 2012.
Small spec – Full Forged Engines with Garrett GT3076 Turbo’s, F28 6 speed transmissions with Quafie Diff’s est 450-500bhp per engine
Will Write a full spec up when I get time.
Full Build photos can be found here
Corsa Sport - for Vauxhall and Opel Corsa B, Corsa C and Corsa D
I will update this thread every few month but if you want to follow every nut and bolt part then i will be doing updated on Facebook here
BnS Auto's - Motorvoertuigen - Oldham | Facebook
Hope people like the update, Comments welcome.........

Nice fabrication work, will keep an eye on this, im yet to see a twin engined car (bar bike engined kit cars/grassers) that actually work well, the pug1off 306 was shocking, twin vr6 turbo golf was slow and the regal nova seemed unreliable, hope you crack it mate as it looks great work!

having been in an rs turbo rear engined car (for sale on here it is) i think you will have to change a fair amount, your hair will catch fire with that turbo up there, and i would fit a bulkhead (oil cap blew oil everywhere in the car i was in but the heat was massive)
air needs to get in somehow

Massive update here with loads of pics, from other threads on other sites.
Start by the ultimate lock up, forget your local pub. As said before my mate owns a lazar profile place so here the after hours lock in, help your self and make what you want
Lazar cutting machine
CNC Bender
Overveiw of the toyshop
So made up my fuel tank aswell as lazar cut aload of other bits i needed for parts i am making (see below)
Oil Catch tanks (still needed to weld on intake pipes)
Header tanks (1 x engine water 2 x chargecooler may need one more engine water depending on how i run the rad and system)
Some parts which have arrived, Kevlar arch liners, Quafie gearknob, Solid mounts and battery and carbon kit to make some items.
Window vent cut and ready to fit
Front and rear exhaust all finshed (needs welding and wastegates) only having a single tail pipe out the rear.
Made a 100% carbon strut brace and heater cover.
Also one night over using another mate’s work to CNC all my gear linkage setup (based around the VW motorsport shifter)
Loads of items off to the powder coaters (above water tanks etc) so will update when back and fitted in place.
Playing with some carbon, made a replacement removable slam panel.
Come out really well still some work to do on it to make 100% smooth but as my first go really pleased, going to make my door cards now.
Fitted up header tank and oil catch tank (you can not see on the bad photo) an placed carbon panel on there to see weather i like the look.
got the window vent all fitted up aswell (outer metal plate sent away to be powder coated)
had a go of making replacment carbon panels etc.
So here my slam panel all complete, fits perfect and looks stunning. I am really very pleased with it.
Had a little trip down memory lane today, my mrs had me throw out my car mag collection from when i was 12 up until today
I had to sort threw them all, keep a few i wanted for old times but throw the rest.
I came across which Really made me smile and answered alot of questions.
Here is where my fastination for Twin Engine Cars began June 1997 I would of been 16 when i bought this mag. What made me smile was look closely at the photo I wrote on the reg at 16 - adam's car hands off. hooked ever since
I cut out my slam panel and fitted up my carbon replacment which fits perfect.
really chuffed with how it has come out.
Also fitted the Fuel cap in the rear window, just waiting on a few bits so i can install the tank and filler neck
Started making the bottom pulleys tonight, making bottem pulleys and alternator pulleys.
I bought 2 as a sample, reason for making it i am running a OPC steel crank which has a differant bolt fitment than standard XE/LET.
My Weapon this evening was a Harrison M250 nice "school" Lathe.
Finished the Bottom Pulleys and made the Alternator Pulleys.
Just need to cut the V section into the Alt ones.
Going to think about doing a group buy and making a few sets.
Cheers

Update - 21/03/2012
been doing some small bits over the past few weeks, finishing off half gone jobs.
Main update is the gear linkage been working on that, and looks like its going to work perfectly.
Just waiting on some lazar cutting bits to mount on a turret.
Also News car will be at PVShow on Total Vauxhall stand, so people can come and have a look and a chat.
