Well, a very brief update
I'd been thinking about upgrading my MXL Strada dash to the Pista version for a while and when I saw that Gary from APT was changing across to a Motec dash for his Evo, a handful of text messages were exchanged and I became the proud owner of his AIM Pista dash, Smartycam, GPS tri-axis G sensor, lap beacon and associated leads/sensors:
Will at least mean that I can get some test days under my belt and analyse the data afterwards.
Paid for a few more bits today so will hopefully have some more 'shiny bits' updates later in the week.
I also booked the car in with Tour De Force for early April today so we can calibrate the drive by wire system and the active traction control - hopefully we'll see a fire up while its down there too

Just to prove its existence...
Borg Warner EFR 7064 and two Tial 38mm MVS watercooled external wastegates
A huge thank you goes to Grant at GB Enterprises for his assistance in securing me this rarity, hopefully my fabricator will have the twin scroll manifold finished in the next 4-6 weeks

That is a stunning turbo.. What's your power goal? The specs suggest 560bhp, looks like an incredible spool, and i have never seen a built in BOV before!
Also, nice choice on the wastegates, i bought my dual 44mm's before these water cooled versions came out! gutted

Ah you learn something new every day...
Im certainly curious to see its response.. I went for a GT3076r with twinscroll, im trying to reduce the lag with ALS (not the best for longevity).

Well, another delivery!
I'd originally been using a pair of Corbeau Pro Series bucket seats for the build, but when I bought them, the car was still a 'fast road car'. As it is now an outright track toy, I felt I needed a more serious seat that would offer me more protection and support, plus be suitable for use with a HANS device (might yet be required as my neck has never been right after that accident with Fudgey). So after some negotiating with Tony from Touring Car Spares, a deal was struck on this Corbeau Revenge seat
Its the Carbon/Kevlar model too, so uber strong and uber light (a bit like me )
And some snazzy new side mounts to sit it on:
Tony did me a cracking deal on it and it was here 48hrs later - top stuff

Another parcel this morning!
I asked the Twins to work their magic on my dash surround having seen some of the quirky bits they helped Ron with on his Time Attack car and they didn't disappoint
Tyre Temp & Pressure Monitor
Brake Bias Adjuster
Really pleased with it
Just got to hope it still fits in the recess

Not yet mate, hopefully on Monday, been juggling some money around
Thanks Mike
The bias valve position is a tricky one to get right as it's a cable adjuster, ideally the less bends in the cable the better! I don't really rate my ability as a driver high enough to be making constant adjustments 'on the fly', really it'll be a case of making adjustments of "1 click" or "2 clicks" etc. between sessions. In the worst case scenario I can always dive into the pit lane and make a change during a session if I need to
As i've cut most of the dash away i'm quite limited on space too so it seemed a good compromise to put the bias valve there and it offers a fairly smooth route to the pedal box
I can always move it later on if needs be
