Rev counter wiring
 

Help, please!!!!

I have got hold of a rev counter to fit to my escort but am having trouble working out where to connect the green (signal) wire to.

I have a a 1.3 hcs engine with a coil pack, crank sensor and a weird computer unit, Pictured below....

Can anyone please help as I would like to get it working.

Thanks for all your help about this issue but after a lot of research and even longer time, I now have my rev counter working.

Only down side to this is that I now know my idle revs are very low!! So more to sort out, oh well! He he.

How did you go about doing this ? i wanna do it to my 1.3 escort. but have no idea?

It involves wiring, 2 diodes, 1 zenner diode and a bit of soldering bud.
