Default 6 speed vs mtx75

hi,i need some advise. at the moment im building a zetec turbo between 250-300bhp. the problem is that im not sure if im gonna use mtx75 or the focus st 6 speed gearbox which one is the best? and if some one knows if the 6 speed box fits on a zetec e silver top?

yes it fits as i had this in my mk3 escort, i prefered 6 speed as no chassis rail monds required and left pleanty of space compared to the ib5, but each to their own.

Use the MTX-75, it's strong as ****, lighter and has a better feeling gear change than the six speed. Try an ST170, the gear change is quite vague, the final drive is very long and it's closer ratios are designed for N/A engines and their smaller power band which is not necessary on a turbocharged engine.
