plans for future are.. 30mm drop so its nice and clean, some type of exhuast. not decided which yet and some bigger brakes so i'm ready for when in a few years i wanna slam a 1.7 puma engine in the old boy..
dont see many pacific green fiesta's and definatly not many 5 doors with puma lumps

Good call with the brakes, those disks you have on now are shot. Decent suspension, Full exhaust system and then the engine when you can afford the insurance. that should be your plan.

Look at the lip on the edge of the disk. They're shot. ST150 brakes would be a decent upgrade.

For the sake of Ł20 for some new disks.... I would change them. Alternatively, next time one of you boys has a tin of beans (probably tonight) just use the can lid.... similar diameter.

apologies but he was being very disrespectful, what is the point of being like that to newbies, if you want people to join the community try using constructive criticism instead of being out right offensive, if you dont agree with how someones modded their car then just respectfully say that you do not like it but each person has their own ideas and likes what they like, keep having a go at newbies and nobody will want to join this community.

I'm offering advise, im not trying to put you guys down, just having a laugh with you.... Dronners understands

Looks like Blobby cant take the forum bant, perhaps its time to make your way back to crinkley bottom- Noel is probably waiting for you to nosh him off.

In all seriousness, it makes no difference to me what you do with your cars, but take it from somone who ownes 3 cars and a house by himself.... dont waste money on cheap upgrades, you'll only get fed up of them and then lose money when you come to sell.

alright ill bear that in mind, but take a little advice from me, be a cunt to people you lose their respect instantly hence what has happend in this situation, theres a difference between friendly banter and being as i have said, a complete and utter cunt. if you want people to actually join the forum then dont make your opening line an insult or "BANTER" and actually try being helpful and friendly as others have been.

polybushes, sticky tyres and then start to look at stripping weight out of the car, carbon doorcards, rollcage, bucket seats, harnesses... the list is endless- it all depends on how much you want to spend.

Strutbraces, yeah if you like.
Because your not changing the engine in your car for a while look towards modifications that will improve the handling, try and get the centre of gravity as low as possible in the car, lower it, poly windows, better brakes and tyres.
If you can corner well then your car will feel much better to drive. I used to have a civic which was imported from japan, it wasnt massively powerful but everyone said how quick it felt because of how well it went round the bends.

Welcome to the madhouse kieran. car looks well mate, you seem to be making the rite mods/changes so far, defo looks better than when you first got it. if your seriously going to drop a 1.7 in it, brakes and suspension upgrades should defo be on the cards before you do it

as for the newbies bickering, trust me gents, the longer your on here, you'll find a lot more to bicker about than if based on a picture, a set of discs are shagged or not

Id just lower it as it looks to be on stilts, replace the lipped brakes as they are fucked, get some zetec s bumpers and wheels and that'll do you

dont mess about with engine mods in your first year of driving, oh and lets not talk about the bass bin in the back

ive decided atm not to go with zetec s bodykit as thats not what it is lol. i dont want people thinking its a z-s and its only got a dinky 1.25 engine. also i prefer the GTI alloys to z-s ones but yeah it is on stilts

ok then.. been ages. time to update. plenty done since last time.
so back in march i had a sportex 3" backbox with hoffman 52mm racetube fitted

then a little later on i fitted some 30mm apex springs so it looked like this.. nice and subtle drop just how i wanted it

then literally the day before ford fair. an exciting thing happened zetec s kit got fitted

then the skirts got fitted a little later on

a nice set of sparco torino bum huggers for the front

and finally a new set of discs and pads for the fronts.. no pics as there just standard replacements..
so yeha lots of changes since last time. hope you like
