major 3 door Resto after blowing the engine
After melting a piston due to not setting the car up properly, I decided to go for the rebuild myself. Upon further inspection on the ramp i noticed quite alot of rust appearing on the underside of the car. So I thought to myself I might as well do the whole lot whilst it was off the road. Being in the body trade i like to do things as i feel are properly done. SO IT STARTED
A Picture of it before I started

I took the engine out and stripped it for the rebuild finding a hole in piston no3. In the mean time the whole car was gutted and put on the spit roast.

good luck mate - hope you have labelled everything up - unlike me who just throws it all in the garage then wonders what various bolts are for
hows is the head and what caused the hole?

yes lol all bagged up, labled and sealed. I had the head tested and skimmed. All good now, the hole was from turning the boost up. Lesson learnt lol
