Hi all i have recently been doing some rust repairs on my mk2 fiesta zetec on bike carbs. There was small bubbles of rust visible so i got the grinder out and ground off the paint along with the rust. These spots are now down to bare metal and rust is gone but there is a step now between the old paint and the paint i ground off (ie its not smooth) will i have to put a very small layer of filler here to smoothen it off or is there another way you are supposed to do it. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks everybody.
