bit of an update not much tho

got it out my garage so i could turn it round and strip the back end to send it off for powder coat

then i started to clean the under side of it so i could paint it

got the front end parts back from the powder coaters

here is all the back end stripped

then after a clean and a lick of paint it now looks like this

and the only bit of rot i found on the car is on the filler cap area

so i just need to get that sorted was thinking about putting a flap filler on it but dont know if it will look any good

also cause its in bits i got all new nuts and bolts for it

bit of an update

got the rear end back from the powder coaters

then i started to fit them but cause my car never had a rear anti rollbar i did not know how it went on so this was the first try

i then found out it was wrong and asked furry for some info and went on passionford for pic

then i got it right

went down autoworld and get some rear wheel bearings
and fitted the hubs

and then cause i still had time i started to mock up the rear disks

i need to do a few things to them and they will fit nice then im sending them off for a refurb and painted black or red

just got to get my gaz coilovers now and it will be rolling

then ive got to sort the brakes out going for 4pots on the front a wilwood pedal box

then im getting the gear box mount welded in then im going to do the inside

its all fun

not much

brackets are Ł20
disks cost Ł20 for the pair
calpers i got off a mate from a xr4x4 would say about Ł15
rs2000 hand brake was Ł23.50
pads Ł7

if u go for uprated stuff it will cost more

i got most of my stuff from autoworld (like partco)

but i asked for a escort xr3i 130bhp hand brake cable cause it was cheaper and its the same
