That was 100 quids worth of 2000e, 208,000 miles on the clock and she was fookin rotten. Of all the 21 sierras ive had this is by far the worst.
And it still had mot lol.

So yours really isnt that bad, the transmission tunnel bits, inner sills and seat mounts are to be expected on any sierra.

Another quick update - i finally dropped my engine, box, prop, zorst, fuel tank, fuel lines and shit loads of other stuff off to my mates workshop so he can start building it all up and ready for it to drop into the car once its back from the bodyshop. Have been waiting months to get to this stage - getting excited now

couple of quick pics of the engine (hope it bloody works )...

I didnt realise how many parts i had gathered i was adding up the value as i was loading the van and then got depressed at the figures so stopped counting

Looking good mate not to far to go now. The sills seem a bit worse than you thought but soon will be sorted, not many that haven't seen a welder at one time or another keep up the good work and up dates.

Cheers Ade - yeah it was worse than expected, but at least the shell will be mint when done as the rest of the car is solid and never been welded.

Sooo cant wait for a bit of anti lag anti-social behaviour

right, think i better put some pics of work in progress. Car should be ready by tomoro hopefully, but still deciding what to do with the engine as may leave the DOHC in there.

passenger side inner sill plated but needs finishing off

outter sill done

gearbox tunnel sorted

Passenger seat mount done

Poor car

Thought this looked a cool pic lol

Parts of the inner and outter sill - how rusty :eeok:

yes and no

the car will be coming apart, but im goin to use it for the next few months as ive spent so long getting everything, I will be gutted, not to mention, once i do make the move to settle down, i defo will not have a fast rwd car for a good few years (if i have a car at all) - so im going to get the anti-lag going and then strip it around April/May time

Nice one mate if it carries on like this, house prices may fall and you will be in a win win situation. Happy days, I can see old people and children cowering and crying as you pull off!

Just had a quick update on the fone from my mate, and he says the caliper brackets i bought off someone on here for 80 quid fit like a dream and i now should have enough room to put my Hocks back on - so i will prob sell the black Comps on as never really been a fan of them

My Hocks are on get in

so happy they fit and i can now get rid of the Mo's.

Had a minor moment as i temporarily couldnt find the lock nut key found it in the end and everything swapped over great.

Turbo is on the engine so once a few more bits have been added it will be ready to drop in.

Not long now.

No pics tho as i couldnt be arsed

My mate wasnt there the other day hence no pics - will try and pop down there this week.

But I do have an update, my reg has been transferred on - D 16V RS

Picking up a 7.5" diff on the weekend and will have that fitted as i dont think the 7" will last with the power im going for - so that will be for sale soon

im working on it Gary - i blame the mrs tho as i keep spending time with her rather than going down to a cold dark workshop

I pulled my old reg plates out and reckon i need some new ones making up as they have a few marks on them now
