Nice mk2!!

Sorry to say, but...

..The wheels are uuber wank fella... Get it decked on some 13" rs4 spokes or some nice 15" series 1 rs7 spokes. Or have you considered some.... pepperpots.? Heheh... Stick with some ford alloys or some that suit the car mate!!

Some Fiesta RS1800 wheels in 14" look nice, or some 15" MKv RS2000 rims....

Well, you might have convinced yourself that you're doing it right, but you certainly haven't convinced anyone else

After all those cars you've had, all that time and money wasted on shit parts and stupid painted bits, and you're still making the same mistakes!

Stop buying parts, join a proper Fiesta forum, read through people's resto threads and see what they're doing and go from there. You seem to randomly spend money on parts, when you could be doing far better things if you put some thought into how to spend your money.

Sell those ridiculous wheels, they don't suit the era of the car in the slightest, just make it look proper barry boy as it's standard otherwise. The stupid cherry bomb will ruin it even more. Spend the money on having the sills sorted PROPERLY and then get any other ropey bits sorted, and then think about modifying it once you have a licence can actually drive the thing legally.

Budget cars rock, I love them to bits. They're a great way for people to show their creativity. But you need to be clever with how you spend your money, buy the most effective bits, and play to the cars strengths, which you're not doing at all.

By the way, primer is pourous, so moisture will be getting through it and eating your sills away as you sit there wanking over your badass Fox wheels

Talking new bits and bobs

Front Tie Bar Bushes finally got hold of some and they are really good quality FLOW FLEX. Now the 3" of play in each front wheel has now gone

Old exhaust, cut silencer off

Cherry bomb with specialy made reducers, cost a fortune all together but its worth it.

Needs a bit of fiddling to get it mounted right but not long now, honestly it sounds incredible If u have a mk2 stick a cherry bomb on it, u wont be disappointed

wish every1c ould hear it.
Why did people tell me not to get 1 of these ?????????

Be4 = Crappy old headlight bulbs

After new roadlegal Xenon side light and headlight bulbs and they really make a difference and have a slight blue tint but much brighter than old ones. Only £6.70 from ebay for th set what a bargain. if u dont have them already for ur car get some.

I get the feeling any advice you are going to get is just going to be ignored and wasted. Why pay all this money on things that just dont work. wont be long till this is wasted and in a scrap heap like the rest of your old junk..... Sorry i mean cars. Can you not see you are ruining a good base wake up!!!!!!!!! and read the help people are trying to give you..... anyway rant over!!!!!! Im a way back to the unit to stick a cherry bomb on the racing puma scrap that an old scaffolding pole will do. oh and i have just ordered a set of tidy fox 5 spokes going to look well mint lmao....

Looks like you are good at spoiling cars. Almost as if all these shonky tatty old things (which all look to have had a hard enough life anyway) have to endure the final pain of being ruined by you before ultimately going to the great scrapyard in the sky. Surely you could let these cars die a little more gracefully?

Thus thread cracks me up, the OP thinks that all it's the bees knees, everyone else around can see how quickly the car is being ruined!

Ah well, I have some advice for you...... Ignore all further advice.

Your retardation knows no bounds

There's a guy at my uni with a MK2 with a cherry bomb on it, so I know how they sound, and it is anything but good. It sounds ridiculous.

This forum is a massive, massive resource of advice and expertise, yet you still seem convinced that you know best

Can you even drive yet?

i was sitting the other day thinking ...whatever became of the beast of a fiesta being built in leeds and low and behold you'r still destroying it
best bet is either stop posting this nonsense or start taking notice other than that your setting yourself up for more ripping,
why do you persist in ruining the few decent standard cars that are left why not just face it and buy a corsa

and really a welded cherry bomb whats the point, what a total and utter waste of money, the fact that its on a standard pipe shows just how much you know about engines , youd of been better of without an exhaust

its not like your incapable, with a bit of knowledge and some good planning you could probably make a decent motor out of it,
spend sometime reading and thinking about what you want from this car and stick to it but really a welded up cherry bomb and fox alloys come on ,
you dont seem to take note of criticism either, even when its constructive, i take it your head is forever stuck in revs magazine etc , try buying classic and retro ford mags(wont have any mk2s in) and take styling cues from there or even as some one says read this site,
theres a guy on here big ryrs
(tinger) he has a cracker of a mk2 honestly its a stunning looking car granted its had a load of cash thrown at it but its also been well thought out and time taken to do jobs properly

come on fella cherry bomb sounding the tits!! only thing i think they sound like is a banger racing car redlineing it round the track!! they sound terible and bet your neighbours will think the same too!!lol listen to the advice people are giving to you and do a decent job of it not make yourself a laughing stock to all on here!! remember less is more!! you dont need to spend the earth to make this a nice looking fez and i do agree with everyone else the wheels do not fit the era of the car you need some wheels manufactured when these cars were all about not wheels made for crappy saxo's and boy racer corsa's!! come on mate you know it makes scence!!.

I saw the title and actually thought you was doing it properly... Obviousley not
Doing it proper? the car looks shit.
The fox wheels have completley ruined the look of it. Lowering it on the standard steels would have looked much better rather than 15" lumps of shit that will foul the arches and probably make it handle like a boat.
A cherry bomb on a 957cc fez wont sound amazing, just makes it loud. You could have adapted the xr2 exhaust to fit which would look and sound nicer.

Join the MK1 or xrtwo fiesta forum and look at the resto threads so that you get the idea of what these old fiestas are ment to look like... Not chavved up!
The best ones look completley opposite to what yours is.

Im restoring a MK1, and the forums have helped me out alot so you should join them and it will help you out alot too. You will gain alot of knowledge so youll be able to build the car properly rather than turning it into a deathtrap

or....

Put the car on ebay, sell it to someone who will do it properly and buy yourself a corsa or another chav-wagon

Ok been watching this for a while and was interested to start with but no its getting to be a bit of a joke!
far enough your young and this seeeeems to be the thing as there are loads of kids like you my way with there 1.1 saxo's with massive exhausts and 18mates on the mopeds following them round halfords car park wishing they had a bad ass saxo,

But please dont start a thread---- MK2 Fiesta cheapo resto done propper this time!!!!

One day you will look back at this and think what the fuck was I doing---- it aint no restoration more like a humilation!
I think you should change the title then you may get some more possitive feedback..................Rant over

Ok all advice has finally sunk in and the fox wheels are going, try get around £100 from chav for them coz they are mint, then source a set of 13" pepper pots in bad or good condition and refurb them myself as ive got pretty good at using the old spray tin and emery paper. Cherry Bomb is staying as ive put alot of time into it an its my sort of thing and its all mounted now (gonna try upload a video to youtube so u can see how good it actually sounds "Believe dont dismiss it untill u hear it").

see new post below soon
