sell the mondeo ffs u don't have time for both cars trust me i own two fords and i haven't managed to butcher them yet But my capri just doesn't get the time she deserves to get her back so i can turbo her :P. should change after I've finished the drive.

Should of bought one of these ashley systems for the fiesta and sold the mondeo has it is just going to sit around on your driveway mate sell it and buy some proper parts for your fiesta!

i'm in the same position now... a 2.0 ZVH mk3 escort and a 1.1 mk2 fiesta, the fiesta i want it to be sorted in a month max as its going to be the daily then i've got cash for the escort

My car keeps flippin breaking itself alately so now needs a bottom ball joint as its completley fooked so im just gonna buy 2 new ball joints, a new steering rack as its a bargain and 2 track rod ends might aswell get it all to eliminate any problems in the near future. 2 front tyres fooked aswell only had them maybe less than 3 month from new, need some poly bushes for the trailing arms asap costing alot of money in parts this car with alot more to spend so the mondeo is on hold for now

This thread is simply fantastic.

Is it just me or does every car you buy have rusty wheel arches, and all end up with shonky wheels, a badly colour coordinated rocker cover, a badly bodged exhaust, and a host of ill fated 50p mods?

Honestly, you need to listen to some of the advice on here. Save up cash so you can do a few good mods, rather than a thousand shite ones. You also need to get some axle stands!

But 'A' for effort all the same!

Well got some cosworth 280mm discs and they dont fecking fit (80 odd mile round trip to get these so im pretty pissed off) as they hit the ball joint although the calipers do bolt straight on. So dunno what to do about the discs, probily av to get 260mm discs as i saw this on xr2 site.
Can anybody help here????????????????????????
also need my exhaust to be louder but can only spend upto Ł50, id get an 8" or a 12" cherry bomb to weld in again but ill just get slated again so any suggestions ?

ive got some 10mm wheel spacers and they fitted directly in the back of the disc but no joy, been told before summat to do with the offset so get some 260mm rs2k discs should work with a litle shaving on the caliper carriers.
