my new winter project
i bought this mk2 on monday from huddersfield my plan is to put a 1.8 zetec in it and run it on a set of carbs hope u like it

went to the mk2 2day thought id try the engine befor i take it out and 2 free the back wheels the engine turns over but i could'nt get a spark so i tk the dizzy cap off and the points look new tryed a new coil and still nout any ideas lads

Great project you got there fella, am sure that plate is something to do with Ford as all the OO numbers were Ford press release cars, seen quite a few RS2000's and the like with very similar reg numbers.

if you can find out in the history (if its got any) the original dealer and contact them they might be able to shed some light. if not try and contact the ford heratige place

iam goin down 2 the mk2 2moz to free the back brakes up so i can get it 2 my garage and start cuttin it away and get some more pics

yeh the engines still around kieran has put it in the red shed, engine seemed past its time was tryin to blow the oil cap of on idle lol how the escort cumin along will have to pop round one day this week and giv a hand
