My Series 1 Restoration-1st Place Concours, Cumbria 12/5/13
Right cracking on with this now, spent a bit collecting bits up before starting it.
Off road for many years. It's having wings and front panel, pair of doors. All genuine ford.
Few pics
Stripped the car to this state 12 month ago and left it in corner of garage
Pulled it out other day, removed doors and anything from inside the car
Should be going for panels and paint soon, then the rebuild starts
At first I was going to go standard everything and just have it chipped for some extra poke. But the fact that requires sourcing standard mint bits as I'd want it to be minty mint.
So now I'm just going for a nice clean car. Running efi, 250 horse, standard box, probably big brakes and wheels.
I've got engine, management, turbo etc so I may swell use it all in this.
number plates
car stripped back more
steaming the underside
panels removed
Wings and front panel removed, put onto it's side ready for welding work. Makes everything easier
will update as i go on, wont be a massively quick resto

thank you for the comments,
im 25 pal, and as daz says, i am a steel fabricator and erector on paper but i run jobs for the company i work for now. i fabricated and piut up the building in which all the cars are in.
my old s1 i sold to a lad in scotland called pete (Lucis on here) and it then it was owned by another lad in scotland, Craig Hayter, he sold it and its since dissappeared, i got told by some one it got broke which is a real shame as it was a solid good s1 and i had my heart and soul in that car, and 13k lol
my old series 1, a car i still wish i'd never sold, it was nearly 5 years ago
