Very interesting build - especially since I'd never seen nor heard of a Cortina Saxon before!

Is that the only picture you have of the official Ford produced car? Just interested to know how you know all of the correct dimensions for it?

Hi XR3I no no over drewings just that one picture at first i thought it was just a cut down cortina but no so many things diff like the door 2" deeper hump in the boot flat back panel etc i think that y no one has built one b4 ,one big problem i had was the wheel if the look there not 13" there 15" so where do you get them so i had 2 make them i used vw beetle outer rims and ford focus hubs i welded them 2gether the hub cap was hillman minx that took a lot of work sorting that problem out but had 2 build the car round the wheels .
