Right, had it out with Billy and long story short he has promised to have the car finished in two weeks (fabrication), if its not the car will be leaving. He's desperate to finish the job he started etc. So watch this space!

well drivers side wing is all welded in and whole front panel is off to start the process of putting the new front end on, the cossie panel for the heater to sit on is in....sort of, in the process of trimming it down to fit.

well look what arrived this morning, well happy with it and got it for 120 quid!!! Might have found a mint parcel shelf too, just need the 17" rs7 diamond cuts and thats me nearly there.....

i phoned to make sure, said he had already thought of that built everything back up to check works fine but he is moving it slightly to make sure it all has decent clearance and looks right, going out to see it tomorrow, cant bloody wait....getting really excited.

checked today , parcel shelf still there , in mint condition too no sagging or rips or that
could be doing with a quick hoover tho thats it

also found a set of standard tail lights for a mk3 escort you can also have if any good to you .

Went down to billy’s earlier and got a nice surprise, heater panel all welded in, well nearly, he’s just modifying the fuse box bit cos he wanted it to look better, it did fit in ok but wants more space around it.

completely stock s1 mate, only prob is i have been told that the cossy brakes will not fit under teh series 1 wheels, they fit under series 2 turbo wheels but not series 1. So looking for a set of rs7 diamond cuts or maybe a set of rondells. But i want it to look completely standard from the outside other than that. Even thought about getting the standard wheels made bigger but thats mental money!
