no mate they were welded on the bench in a jig and with my back to the car its the first time i have done any thing like this nere the car and the last as the next lot of welding will be down were focus shell is

Iv done a small bit of work on the roll over jig today i had to ask a neigheour if i could measure his ford focus well to say he said i was mad is a under statment still i got the size i needed . all so thanks to DINGLA RS for his help

Iv been down to were the shell is and had a play with it and im very happy with the out come of tonights work

As you can see it is not 90* but just after the photo i drilled the stand and the shell is now 90*

ian i need remeasure the rear beam mount for you i must got mixed up as when i came do mine i was bit out some how ,but sure you got the front to do first neway an tunnel

well i went down to the shell again tonight and did a bit with young sam . we got all the rear beam of and the fuel tank off tonight

quite easy really we lifted mine on to four tyres stacked up then one enda at a time the shell striped 3 people can lift it easy

i think he have few more cuts by time he finished lol

the part were the front crossmember bolts to, needs cutting back to the chassie ian on each side that were the bosses for compressin struts bolt to not far off catchn me up now carnt wait get home an do bit monday nite

Thanks mate as you no to well its the first cut and i had NO photos to hand thats why its a ruth cut as it was from menory . we have started printing some off now for the next time i get down there . as the wife has said iv got to do some work on the house tomorrow and all so do some work on my sister in laws house as iv done a masive refurb on her house and iv got the just the small thinks to do now to get it finished off

Thanks mate i did a small bit today with sam i will see about getting some photos up tomorrow but wot we did today was get the front beam in place it only has some small spots of weld holding it in place at the mo as i did not have my laptop with me to look at the photos i have saved from all the lads that are helping me on here .all being well i should get down to the shell tomorrow and weld the plates on to holp the beam in place .

iv not got to that yet but there are holes on the tunnnel that i might use to measure from to the door frames and so on but i am trying to get my hands on a 205 block so i can mock it up as i have a 2wd and a 4x4 gear box the rear beam will be here this week so i can start to line it all up with all that stuff under there a lot better

i no wot you are saying but if you bolt all the stuff togever and bolt the gear box to the tunnel as well it will all line up
