Excellent update, lovin the new rims, u kept them quiet you dark horse lol.

Are you using a sandwich plate between your efi inlet and head? I offered mine up the other day and the port holes dont exactly line up perfecty plus the holes drilled for the studs or bolts are drilled too big, but guess i'll get round it.

lol like to supprise poeple :P yeah i am using the conversion plate and i didnt have any problems linning it up, i take it you got your from jano 2 ? possobly a dodgy one and yeah you need to change the studs to shorter bolts apart fron the last stud on the pass side that stays the same.

hope this helps mate.

the bay is preped up for paint now nothing major tho atm because the engine is still in however it should clean up nice

Those sections will need more than that cut out for a proper repair as well. I'll have to take a look when I'm up next. Just paid the yearly rental on the bottle and filled it up that hurt.

If you've got to do that rust Conor, which you have i'd just strip out all the interior and repaint the whole inside, would be mint then. That rust on the door hinge area isnt that bad is it mate?

alright chaps,
Haven't really bee keeping this to updated but ill give it ago now lol. well the car runs its been mapped and is running very nice indeed.

a few diffet parts.

p8 with anti,coil,water inj,air inj blah blah

grp A

also changed greens instead of the blues.

We got he car running on the Tues night ready for mappings at Janos weds, left at 6 broke down twice on the way due to the plugs getting so suety they wouldn't supply spark ,arrived at Janos 11.30 he set it up and mapped the car all day till half 6 only break we had was a quick run to Burton power for some proper spark plugs ( champ c57). we had the car running all day but due to no having a lamba connector on the car we couldn't check the boost so its been put down to 13 psi.

The car was nice and quick at 21 psi tho ha ha still pulls like a train now. only a few problems 1) phase senc was playing up a bit and we found out that it wasn't working so jano replaced it with anther untested one so we still didn't think it was working right but after he had a play it seemed OK, jano said something about the p8 being so sensitive that all the gaps/timming have to be exact .. and the only other problem we had was the water temp was abit high but as soon as you opened the bonnet it would drop drastically so Ive fitted some bonnet raisers and it seems t have helped even tho i think they look shit loll

So now the cars running hopefully get it to ford fair and than take it to Janos a few weeks later and get it up to the proper boost
