Focus rs powered focus (update 31/8/9)
Well here it is .
when i bought the car it had a silly bodykit and a few other really wank parts ., im slowly getting it back to a standard that is acceptable
quick spec
rs gearbox
Turbo Technics hybrid turbo
K&N Gen 2 filter
uprated chargecooler
Mongoose decat
Powerflow cat back
Vibra technics mounts
front end is all polybushed
st170 brakes all round
Spax adjustables all round
Samco hoses
PLANS
both the front and rear bumpers are a temp measure, acceptable standard ones will replace them ( probs st170 ones)
i also need to get the quarter panel repaired
the wheels are borrowed from my st170 and will be replaced with either a set of comp mo 6's or another multispoke design
the horrible sounding exhaust will also be going and will be replaced with either a blueflame or a milltek
after that it will be a tubular manifold and a decent chip/map and we should see over 300bhp
and here is the damage

Change the front brakes, Wilwood 6 pots are nicely priced and fit over ST170 300mm discs direct. Chuck the chargecooler and what's the wiring and pipework like under the front panel, looks a little messy. Reason I'm asking is, these engine's get very hot and can easily split water pipes.
Cool care otherwise, agree with the front bumper need changing.

Good lad But looks a good project fella, only thing really is to decide to make a true sleeper out of it by leaving the rough bits as they are or making the exterior like a showcar
Send me a PM if you want info on a custom Intercooler system, otherwise check this thread out

well upon stripping the engine ive found ive melted number 2 .
but the project has taken a major turn now,
i bought the rs shell from nomaderst on here
the plan now is to have the rs shell repaired and painted white , rebuild and refit my engine and my running gear ( short term) ,
at a later date as i find all the parts for the suspension side of things , convert it back to genuine rs running gear , and have a nice white frs .
Here is the piston damage
been fitting a few parts to the rs, some of them will have to be removed at a later date , but storage is tight so best place is on the car
