it´s time to raise this theme from dead

in the end I give up from conversion to 4wd

changed color to white

drove car a couple of months on the ECU from a friend (he had custom map made for his car) at 0.8 bar because westgate could not hold more than that

than was race on 402 meter and I attended it to see what time car will made

I took second place in class 14, best time was 14:01

one pic from finals

after that I decide to run on vems (with vems came a new engine installation, wide-band probe, EGT probe and a couple more things I need to sort)

1000 cc injectors

wasted spark (used coil, leads, crank sensor and trigger ring 60:2 from fiat punto 1.2 16V)

new westgate and egt sonda (with this turbo car has 380 horses on 1.45 bar)

than was another race on 402 meter and I took first place in class 13, best time was 13.04

few pictures from race

have few more mods to made, after that again on dyno to see how much hp will be with mods
chears

was going to say if going from 2wd to 4wd there are no body mods needed you just need to make a gearbox mount the transfer box fits (just) and you dont need the half moon cutouts on the front inner wings, my 3 door is 4x4 and has neither

cometic said goodbye after 50 000 km

What are your experiences with cometic head gaskets?

I used a 5-ply 070, and I used it that would not have these problems

Engine assembled and car drove for hole three days

The third day I went to the rolls to mapped car because thinner head gasket. Made 20 runs and then something happened with gerbox, car was in gear but no movment

I disassembled the tranny and the problem was in roll pin on selector arm, he snaped. Puted one from spare gearbox and car is on the road againe, for how long we will see

on car is uprated original diff

after replacing turbo, I think that clutch will slip

and ofcours gearbox need fixing again . having trouble to shift third gear, it goes betwean third and fifth gear

talk to friend to make new selector forks something like quaifes which are no longer manufactured, and I hope that that will fix problem
