Default project 3door track slag, drift tool * NOW PAINTED* COMPLETED :D

well heres the project up to now,
here as it apeared on the trailor

the engine fitted was a 2.8 XR4i lump which had a blown head gasket,(s)

i then striped the interior and took the engine out

this is what i am aiming for with the looks of the car as i am spraying it white and am going for graphics on the side,

so far i have prepperd the engine bay to take the 24v BOB engine,

then got the engine fitted,

i am going to run this on emerald managment, and am just in the process of making a loom for it, so hopfully can hav it runing in a few days,
i have planned to make and install the cage next week and then spraying it hopfully next saturday

all i need then is a radiator
2x buxket seats, 2 harnesses,
and thats it really,

i do really wna convert the rear drums to disk, but i aint paying silly money for the bits, so am trying to drop on an old saph twin cam atm for the cpompleate rear beam

That is a bargain! Wish I'd seen that! Quite liking the idea of a BOB engined Sierra at the moment!

Are the engines hard/expensive to pick up?

Ive paid 50 for the engine with no ecu or loom but the bob emgine is impossibke to get runing with std managnent as it has coded key etc, sl most conversions are done usi g a boa which doest have coded key,
The bob has a stronger block and crank tho so can be revved harder which is better seen as am goin to use it on emerald,

I did buy the car off scott, it did look sorry for its self but its a great car for track etc as its already got most of stuff i want but the engine lol,
Should be compleate in about a month max, so expect to see it sideways at some shows this year

unfortunatly the chav i bought the car off has had them filled and smoothed into the arches

if it was a real 3 door i would of done this, but to me its a cheap track toy and not worth the effort of taking them all off and starting from scratch
