ERST S2 back to life
Hi, i would like to present my erst s2. i bought it at the begining of this year. been searching for a quite good example for some time. we don't have many erst here in poland.
this one was driven in germany and them imported to pl.
previous owner was quite old guy who had his turbo "switched off". probably it was to quick and some very clever mechanic disconected the waste gate. so the car was very economic but it didn't go at all.
anyway, now it is in my hands and i am planning to bring it to life and want it to be as original as i can do it.
this is 1991 mercury grey example. i don't know how many miles it has done but it is in very very bad shape and condition. gearbox is knacked, engine is quite ok, but not so good. body is bad, chassis is bad. it only looks good when it is washed and clean
here are some pics:

at the moments there are no updates worth posting. i cleaned engine with karcher so it looks much better now.
i am quite busy so i can't work on it often. i am selling my fiesta xr2i so i'll have some cash to buy parts.
anyway, here is the engine cleaned and some tape for the exhaust pipe

i will post some more pics of it when i fix the interior floor.
i am still struggling with the AFR, i cant set it up properly. i went to dyno but they didn't do it wright. also i have a problem with cold start, but i think this is a reason of wrong afr.
