Would there be an interest in project like that?

that's how I found it
and was thinking of geting faster with my quartermile that at the moment was 12.39...
so I began mid engined trabant project
the car from factory had only 615 kilos on it.... then I choped the back of it... and added the front of an escort (I know it has been done so many times, but never to a trabant )
will put my Zvh in it or maybe I will assemble full zetec turbo till I finish the body

Yeah I think I read about that one... Wayne his name?
Mine is on wheels already
will have to make some new wings on the back to cover my M/T tires was thinking about copying reno maxi 5 style.... And by the way I shortened the back of it, now it's more like a hatchback... and ofcourse even lighter

front suspension was refurbished and lowered by 4 cm, will stay on original drum brakes in the front. (I don't need any better brakes for dragracing)
original steering column was removed and replaced with escort one as I had no chance to get any spares cheap. (there are only few of them cars in my country)

It's all OK. Made some changes like lighter wheels (kosei K1 TS), smaller brakes (overall lost minimum 5 kilos of the shaft), bigger exhaust housing (went for .63 AR), battery in the front of the axel, compression struts in the front suspension. Hoping to improove last year record of 12,39
