Cool S1 C241FNE Restoration updated 14/5/11

This the s1 i recently bought from a guy called Greg from Cornwall.
The shell has been totaly restored to what i think is the highest of standards
it is still in bareshell form but the rebuild will start reall soon
Andy the guy who done the restoration is a true proffesional

Im just sorting through parts to be sent off for powdercoating and zincing
Have 2 cars in bits at the minute so alot of cleaning and sorting to make sure i have the best for this shell and the rest will be sold with my other shell

But to be honest mate if you took any unrestored s1 with 100k on and stripped it then had it shotblasted you would have the same amount of work if you wanted done to a mint standard
Probably a days welding if idea was to put an mot on it lol

wow that has got to be the crispiest shell i have ever seen but well done the work you have done is excellent stuff but i can see your car is on a dataliner jig so why have you used bits of welded steel as datum points 4 the front legs instead of the laser alignment gear the jig came with

But i never done the restoration on the car i bought already done

The shell was the average unrestored S1 shell Stavros
If you stripped one then sent it to be blasted it would have as much if not more rust than mine
