Default fiesta xr2 zetec

bought the car about a year ago for a project.was standard when i bought it but there was more rust than metal lol.theres all new panels and a 2 litre zetec going in.has been put on hold till my escort is done but will be on the road sooner rather than later






this was the first time we started it up with the zetec in

yeah well i had a friend do the welding but he tokk longer than he thought cos he was drinking to much tea and cans of stella

i used underbody sealent then 2 pots of hammerite the red paint was oxide primer but reacted to the underbody sealent. Been put on hold due to me crashing me escort

ive been ofered a f reg xr2 with lots of welding needed ,needs new floor plan and hole new front end ,hes got a lot of spares but hes asking Ł350?

the engin sounds mint (love that sound lol)
what did you pay for yours and does it sound worth it?

cheers about the escort.is it worth it?i payed 150 quid for my xr2 and the engine had just a service done to it.as you can see in the pics it had to have a lot of work.so really it is up to u but i wouldnt pay that sort of money 4 one

was thinking it was alot for a scraper...owell ive been offered 2 mk3 xr2is today so looks like one of them it maywel be.

hav a good poke around the mk3,s for tin worn as in my experiance the mk2,s seem too have lasted longer than the mk3

been ofered a mk3 xr2i,its dark blue with the 1.8 efi engin and the wing back seats
im hoping he will take 250 but if not then 300,
l reg with around 88000 on the clock.
