Due to the number of cars I have and the ability to drive only one at a time, I had to sell my GTiR in early 1998. It had done only 44,000 km, with 12,000 in my hands. It was fully Australian complianced (by Protech Developments). I've been told that compliancing this type of vehicle now can cost up to $12,000. Protech also sell these cars, if anyone is interested. (I have no connection with them, by the way)

a few months since no posted anything and i have bin busy but nothing really major done unfortunately.
my fried got a evo 9 mr from japan and he got it mapped at 1.6 bar and wow i was really impressed. so after a few months the time came when i was able to buy his turbo and some bit due to him wanting around 600 horses. i dnt really know the specs but i have been told these turbos are capable of around 400bhp whis is well withing my target but its the spooling tiome that i was impressed with also
i also baged a blitz filter
and these aswell 560cc
as for underneath i have started to get all my parts back powder coated
just a mock of sub frame
and finally some coil overs
some expensive nut to go with the boosts
finally. the fun things carbon bonnet
after the bonnet was made my vacuum pump went AWOL from work so i had just made a headlight vent for the pulsar and wanted to try it out in carbon, anyone who works with carbon will understand that carbon dose not like sharp edges. so i decided to hand lay the vent as a mock up. tbh its rubbish and only fit for the bin but Ive got something to work with until my vacuum pump arrives and i can stat infusing the carbon again
a lot more carbon to come

10K+ Poster!!
Coming along nicely there mind
I've always had a soft spot for the old GTi-R
Do you have any step by step photos of you making the carbon parts? I'd like to see those if you have

being sent a bonnet to make for a hill climb gtir, surprising how hard it is to find a non vented item!!
started to mock up the front end with the carbon light (temp one )
also m y test feul cap which i made a while back has failed due to incompatable sealant and has cause the filler cap to bubble
sealant in question
and the bumps its caused any way i will have a black on hopefully made and fitted with different sealant by start of next week

was washing the car a few months back:doh: and water must of got into the bay through the vent and caused a misfire. i know this was definatly the caser because the engine is totaly standard and iv not run it on anything but standard boost so no other cause
any way i then decided to get a fmic and realised i could do with a spark plug cover:thumbsup:
i looked on all the sites and usual ebay stuf poped up, the shiney alloy ones. which look ok but it will look od on my car when all comes together.
so i decided to make one out of carbon.
this is still at the plug stage but its geting there. if there is any intrest when i finish this one i might make some more
