Default Escort MK4 5Drs RS Turbo

Hey,

I am From the Netherlands and dont speak english verywel. Sorry for that, i hope you onderstand me

I am 16years old and i have a Ford Escort MK4 5Drs and want to make him a RS Turbo..

2year it happened back when I was looking for a nice car to learn tinkering. First, I really searched for a Taunus, but it was at that time in my burget available. Then I saw this Escort who I could buy for 100euro (81.26 pounds). Name: MijnEscortYB19KK-28.jpg

Size: 146.9 KB

When I had him I wanted a bit of a better appearance. I bought Spec88 bumpers and 14" RS wheels, elekrtische windows+ CV. and an Spec90 XR3i interior.

but it was still not enough and I bought a bumper spec90, RS Turbo wheels and a RECARO interior.
under the bumper, I made a rubber lip of a focus.

But the engine was still the original 1.6carburateur.

and I wanted it just like anything else with it. So I bought an RS turbo engine.
Name: MijnEscortYB19KK-187.jpg

Size: 175.8 KB

and refreshed him a bit
Name: MijnEscortYB19KK-192.jpg
Views: 536
Size: 177.1 KB

Then I started to strip the car. he is now stripped so far as needed and may soon go up

this was my story until now, I will keep you informed...

I hope you understand my bad english.

I really like this. I think it looks really good with no rear spoiler. If it was mine I don't think I'd have the rear head rests, but its not so I'll shut up! Very good english too. Wish I could speak let alone write another language that well. Good job.

Shortly perhaps disks brake behind, but then I want to have the flat furrow (is it the good word?) for on the naaf. Does someone of you have the dimensions? Meanwhile thanks.

I can make the caliper brackets by myself..

The only thing I need to know is the distance that I have identified with the green arrows

You borrowed my pictures about brackets, but thats ok mate
I can maybe get cad pictures about brackets to you if you need?
That ebay kit which costs 19.99Ł is not so good guality as i expect, brake pads did miss little bit of disc if you understand what i mean, aligning is not so correct. And also parts come in bare metal not zinc coating or nothing. Have to paint those.
I gave already feedback about those things to seller. Mike Rainbird sell brackets too, but they cost nearly 50Ł but those are zinc coated and i believe better quality.
