what a sad sight when you got in in - lovely to see another one restored to how it should be!
not too keen on the wheels as i really like the standard look on S1's but a cracking job - fairplay.

Right small update, after much debate umming and arrring weather or not to sell it due to the fact of buying my first house, I have decided to keep hold of the old girl and finish her off ,and then make a decision of what I am going to do with it.
There is quite a long 'to do' list and a couple of bits and pieces that I still need to buy, but I have a new enthusiasm for it.
Anyway Interior is all finished off and all the seats are back in etc..
Luckily both front seats are in pretty good condition, the drivers seats has a small amount of wear on it, and would ideally like to replace it, but as with all things, where do you stop??
The new enthusiasm has come from the tailgate stickers going on, strange how something so small can make such a difference
Also been spending some money
2wd Saph Front discs
Full black silicon hose kit
Alloy Rad and front mount intercooler
Crackle finish rocker cover and billet cap
The only things that I need to buy now really are a VSS for the EFI conversion and an alloy header tank.
Full steam ahead once again

Right guys the old girl was picked up last thursday for the final push to get it finished off
First time it has seen light of day for about 2 years
Expect the updates will be coming thick and fast now as it will be taking up valuable earning space in my mates garage so hes pretty eager to get it finished off and out of his life
More updates to follow

Update
Clutch and inlet manifold on
Cleaned engine bay ready for the engine to go in, bit dusty having been laid up in the garage a fair while
Drive-shafts fully refirb'd
Shiny new starter motor
Zinc coated bonnet catch
Inlet Manifold on
Ready to be installed
Finally Engine in, massive Milestone for the car considering it has been engine-less for the last 5 years. Got a bit pic happy to mark the occasion
Vibra-technics gearbox mounts
So,things are looking very good! Can't take any of the credit for this though.
Lozz you are doing a fantastic job mate!
Ps Dan you dont make such a bad Joey either
