That was my old black one, the missus still shouts at me now, cause I broke it, all because it was to hard to keep clean. No-one wanted the shell so I scrapped it. All my mates still give me greif about it to this day, and I still kick myself.

yeah im sure ive got some more pics somewhere........will have a look for them.
it was still on mfi.1600cvh.Had a stage 2 turbo, scorpian system, air filter,polihed/ported head with kent35 cam.It also had a front mounted radtec intercooler. It was running 210bhp. Had koni adjustables,325mm hi-spec monster front brake kit, cossie rear discs.,Full custom grey leather, rear safty devices cage............cant really remember the other bits..
The reason i broke it was because,i stripped it down,to rebuild it/repaint it. Like i said because it was black,it was a nightmare to keep clean.I was going for a euro look, fully smoothed bay, stripped out and smoothed rear, with a rear fusion cage, coilovers all round, was going to go zetec 16v turbo, side exit exhaust etc etc,and was going to paint it candy apple red, with black decals. Got well into the project, then started to think about how much it was costing, and how much i still needed to spend. It was more than i could justify,so sold all the bits off and scrapped it.I wish id stuck with it now,as the shell was the best id seen.always a way............
will dig some more pics out for you...

thanks mate.tbo the black escort looks better in the pics than it did upclose. Black is so unforgiving....You could spend the day cleaning it,then the next morning there would be a layer of dust over the whole thing. It did become extremely annoying!
