TBH I think you'd get bored of a Defender pretty quickly, unless you had something else like the Escort anyway. I borrow my brothers pimped 200 TDI 90 from time to time, got massive wheels and tyres, a 2 inch lift, roof rack with all the spots, front winch, sump guards, pretty much everything and painted battleship grey. I borrowed it for the day yesterday actually and although I do like it, I would never own one INSTEAD of the Escort. Although I might sell the XR3 when the RST is one the road and buy one.

Glad you decided to keep it. If your anything like me with my red s2 its taking so long that you go through phases of losing heart and wanting to throw the towel in but then something happens like you view someone elses thread or a series2 goes past you in the street which then gives you a small burst of enthusiasm to get yours on the road. Been like that for the past 3 years for me!!!

Changed my mind again, just couldnt let it go
So the mission is, to get it ready for summer... Mission impossible, Yep haha.
Stuck the front coilovers on, only been sat there 2 years so quite a quick fitment for me!
Luckily ive got adjustable bottom arms becouse the camber on the front wheels its pretty insane Will leave it for now becouse the nuts are siezed solid so need to heat them up. Also replaced all the CV Boots with Gen ford ones.

Yeh the manifold is a one off, made by fortune - PVE.. no longer open for business
Its a stage 2 CTS box so im hoping itll last, but considering ive done about 600 miles in 5 years it should do...

Bought a new car to run about in, it has a pumabuild 190 kit on it and a few other bits and bobs. Seems to go ok! Just going to leave it as it is, maybe stick a cosworth inlet on it.
