wish i could get the pics from the day i got it ,
these are the pics after i put on the alloys and mirrors and lexarse lights
it was a standard 1.4 escort , limited edition due to the mallard green and a slight different interior , when i bought it the rear windows were tinted and had a backbox on.
its crappy 1.4 ( reliable thou )

before a made a few changes

bought some lights too

then i lowered it -60mm on shocks and springs

didnt like the rear lights so changed them too

and this is pretty much how it looks now


but then got bored with 1.4 power and gave geoff from chorley street a call and this happened






this is pretty much how it stands now , its was hitting 184bhp at 15psi with a missfire now the missfire is sorted the boost is about 1.2bar so no idea what it could be reaching now.


its been pretty much trouble free had a new clutch fitted and recently headgasket went coming back from liquid i thought i should have a go at it myself so here are some pics

its now running 1.2bar , surprises so many cars i love it
future plan are a lsd box and more power , an uprated bottom arms as its just destroying them at the moment

impressive mate, what gearbox were you using and where did you get your adaptor for your oil gauge from , i sure thats what is in one of the pics ,

was using mtx75 from rs2000, good for 60 mph in 2nd

that oil pressure sender came from burton, about 20quid iirc

not much of an update but i have sprayed the front grill black , keep getting told by people it will look better so i thought i will give it a try. its growing on me.



next plans are 2 new tyres as i am rolling on steelies at the moment , and i need uprated arms as the original arms are crap and are only lasting a month . hopefully might be able to get them at ford fair

yeah mate was easy as,

you would need a mtx75 box and thrust bearing, ersts2 flywheel, a cosworth clutch i used a ap 4 paddel and a mk6 escort pressure plate

Look's Really tidy m8, n a real clean conversion was worth the cost .. i'm gunna go down the same road i'm just tidy'n up my mk5 1.4 atm n gunna get a turbo put in once my insurance drop's a little .. did u have much trouble with changing the ecu n fuel injection system over

well as it was a nice day i thought i should give the old girl a wash and take some pics somewhere
so heres the result not the best pics in the world but you get the jist of it.

just a bit of an update the gear give up a couple of weeks ago so i stuck another box in.
my mate took apart the old box all gears and shafts were ok but the bairings how ever were a different matter.
these are all ment to be round and the same size :lmfao

i was gutted about that show, I was at the gym an seen 2 mk1 escorts go past, it then dropped the show was on, I've only just come back on the ford scene, and I had only picked my cabrio u the week before, I would have loved to have put it in the show

right bit of an update had the rolling road day today with escort evolution website and fastford feature.
i have lost some power but have now got loads of torque. the power were 174bhp but the torque is a wooping 204ft/lbs so am happy with that. not sure why the power is down all i have done since the last rolling road were gearbox and clutch and cossie pump also the boost valve but i am happy coz its torque that matters. was well impressed with awsome gti's setup they have its a nice place.
