Was thru at AVA today helping with my engine build.

Got most of the bottom end done, the head will be on tomorrow along with sump etc.

We are using a new style cometic fusion triple layer gasket with seperate sealing rings.

Along with some new 12mm long studs all the way from Sweden.

My engine is capable of more power as it does not det at the boost I run, this means we should increase boost or up the CR.

Might be dong a bit of both

That seems like a really bizarre thing to say - so basically you have a perfectly safe engine, so you have decided to try and make it det instead - strange that you WANT it to det .

I think what he is trying to say Mike is that (as far as i rememeber) they havent seen this engine det on the rollers and that they would maybe rather see debt occur so they can adjust it back to a safe point just before the det.

Could be wrong though as im far from knowledgeable(sp) on this subject.
