This is what they waked up to, sunday morning, and the car was parked in the tent besides our couch... no driving that day... :/

Jeg har varit i usa hela tiden, saa ingenn kjorning for meg enda...!!
Det ble et sjukt regn , og flom, paa sondagen , saa det blev ingen testkjorning pa bana, men bilen ble kjort en hel masse paa vanlig vei, og alt funker fint! med tanke paa hvor mye som er byggt om , er vi forvaanad(!!) og veldig glad for at alt virket helt perfetkt paa 1:A kjoreturen!!

Yes, all tough guys drive with no filters, and smoke cigarettes without filters, right?! :P
We had some plans for filters behind the bumper, but it eventually endend up with some round HKS ones stright on the turbo inlets...., and, I dont smoke either btw :P

Hehehe, bat wings...well, we needed something at the rear end to cover up some wiring, waterpumps /tanks for the turbos and ingar came up with this design, a little hot-rod´ ish, and I kind of like it, and the whole frame at the rear of the engine bay meet the design of the intercooler in the other end,and in sunlight it looks better as all the "black stuff" in the rear frame is carbon fibre.. , the "batwing" stuff kinda fits the mods to the doorcards inside the car.... anyway...thats how it turned out and is going to stay :P

Considering going back home for a week in may, piloting it on gatebil vĺlerbanen, Gatebil as is was and is supposed to be, is back and revitalized, AND they got rid of the person messing it all up, so we are back now!

I Actually sent Koenigsegg a request to buy the front/cam cover , wich is all carbon fibre, very doubtfull to weather they will let me buy one, it shure would look nice as it would face forward on my car , as opposed to the firewall on the koenigsegg.
You can see it here,i guess they have various versions of them as they do with inlets and valve covers as well :
And a really nice litte "story"
Bjřrn, the guy & the total genious behind the heads on the engine, actually met a few of the guys from Koenigsegg at rudskogen this summer, they where testing the new AWESOME agera there. Bjřrn approached them and told them we were working on a similar engine as them, and was pushing for about 2000hp. And insantly they replyed "oh, is it the car Joel and ingar built?" and he was like, oh shit, they really know this project!!
But they really liked it and as I understood it, and they had red all about the project here on passionford!
So if we have some konenigsegg engineers lurking in here, please say hi!

Other than that - the engine is a complete animal, it is satan himself in engine morph, it is truly a sensational engine....
It surpasses ALL our wildest expectations, and it seems it even performs better than our very very thorough design simulations that we did up front and as the build evolved.
1st startup videos had a faulty map sensor, replaced that and did some mild street mapping up to about 4500rpm - and the car goes better than ever(including with the last YB) , with NO boost, as we are giving both the engine and transmission som miles to bed in and just test the car a little.
Throttle response and engine noise is completely insane , it is like a totally maaad axe murder - overdosed on crystal meth and speed!!
Givng this 2bar of boost will be very very very VERY interesting...!
Chassi and the whole car also gives confidence,but needs further adjustmends, it has huuge grip reserves, and the feel is very 'works race car', but lower noise levels, and you get a sense of having superpowers!! :P
Stay tuned , this is going to be truly, spectacular!!!

And coming from one of the real veterans who´s been performing over time , makes me smile even more
As for the car, we did our best and it seems as we kind of nailed it, dyno sessions next , and yeah you know the drill....virtually endless fine tuning and further development of suspension, gear ratios, wheel angles, tyre pressure and so on....

Good job! And quite correctly spotted, actually we increased wheelbase by moving the whole rear suspension slightly backwards, about 1.5cm
As this is intended to be a VERY fast car, we wanted to even further increase stability at high speed and therefore did this, it also makes it less violent when going sideways, and finally, gives more moment over the rear wheels when accelrating, due to the longer "arm" over the length of the car this lengthening gives, in theory at least so far it feels very right.
