Thanks ALOT guys!
We just hit the wall when the paint job got f***cked up... and summer kicked inn!
Car is complete in many ways, but we decided that giving it another winter would be the right thing... then I could afford having the one off wheels made up, and give all the final touches 100% effort and not just throw it togheter in the last minute...
Beeing a dad , working 120% in a very demanding job+++ takes its toll on the energy and you get tired basicly...
I promise we will give 100% from now on again and get the car to it's final level
Again, thanks alot for the support guys, Both me and Ingar really appreciates it!!

Can't wait to see the car when it is finnished but I do think that everyone involved in the build has more than earned a bit of a break from the car, I for one will definitely be keeping my eyes open on here so good luck with the rest of the build and enjoy the break from the car if you can mate.

Test fitted twin Garret GT4094R's on the car last night, and actually there's room for them!
So now guess i'll just have to sell off my two brand new 'netics turbo's and "go really large" as the capacity of the 4096's is a few hundred hp over the ones I have now.
Paint also coming along now so now we're soon on to just fettle with details and final touches of the build!

My friend did 1093hp on a 2.5 liter inline 5 audi engine last year on e85 , so i guess between 1000 and 1090 is the aboslute maximum the 4094r can perform..

Yeah, I wanted something very extreme and very different, guess it gonna be just that..
We have decided to use the small turbos for starters, and get a feeling of the car. They run out of air at about 1750hp.
We actually have put alot of effort of the engine design(heads) in making as "little" torque as possible, instad giving the engine good reving capability with good Hp numbers over the rev range(will rev to 9500) and less torque.
Nevertheless it will produce somwhere -+ 1500nm over a very(almost too) broad range.
Top speed? haha, how fast would you go in a granada shaped car?
Will easily do abit above 300km/h, as I did 296km/h with the YB in it.
Cheers

Just a quick question...
Your hoping for just over 2000bhp, and you have chosen two turbos that can max out at just over 1000bhp each.
Would it not be wiser to go for bigger turbos not working as hard to get the same result?

The turbos fitted now max out at about a +- 1700'ish number.
The garret 4096's I test fitted to see if there was space enough, can take it just above 2000hp on the E85 fuel it is intended to run on, as we have that available at alot of regular gas stations over here where I live.
But, we have chosen to go with the smaller turbos for startes as it most likely will be crazy enough with those as well.
If the need for even more power arises, a switch to the 4096's will most likely be made.
